Changing suppliers? It's very simple and totally free! Feel like taking the plunge?

There are just five steps!

First step: compare the prices of the different suppliers with our online tool BruSim.

To do this, take your last annual bill showing your annual consumption in kWh, a summary of your last three years' consumption and the rate applied: single, bi-hourly, exclusive night-time or social rate.

Enter this information in BruSim and compare the prices of the different suppliers.

Then choose the one that suits you best.

Second step: contact the suppliers you have selected and ask them for an offer (an email is enough).

Save a copy of your request and the response. When making your request, also state your annual consumption so that you can compare their offer with your current contract, as well as the 18 digits of your EAN codes (series of 18 digits, which identify your gas supply point and your electricity supply point).

Have you made a decision? In the third step, the supplier will send you a contract. Read it carefully. InforGazElec can also answer questions about your contract.

Fourth step: your new supplier will contact Sibelga.

Sibelga will then send you a letter asking you to read your meter.

This is very important, because without it your former supplier will not be able to issue their closing invoice. Your new supplier then also knows the reading from which they can start invoicing.

Fifth and final step: your former supplier sends you a closing invoice.

Approximately one month after signing the contract, you will be supplied and invoiced by your new supplier.

And don't worry, as the power supply will not be interrupted during the transition.
